I felt disconnected from myself. I was always exhausted, numbing with food and alcohol, hurting from strained family relationships, and often lonely, even when surrounded by people.
But in reality...
I was raised in a large conservative religious family, which shaped so much of how I saw myself and the world.
It wasn’t easy or quick. But it’s what allows me now to stand more firmly in myself, speak my truth, and help others do the same - whether they grew up in religion or not.
I’ve walked through things that could’ve made me bitter. I chose to become better.
I hold the vision and fold the laundry. Both matter.
My work isn’t polished for the sake of it, it’s honest, lived, and full of heart.
I don’t empower you with perfect answers. I empower you by reminding you it’s okay to not have them yet.
I trust the process, and I also ask, “WTF is happening?” at least once a week.
This is the journey. It’s sacred and real, and where I’ll walk alongside you every step of the way.
Spiritual to me is the human need to feel connected and to make meaning of our lives. It’s not religious, institutional, or owned by any system, nor is it exclusive. It’s personal and open to all.
You can be grounded and curious, questioning and connected, open and discerning.
Wholeness doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from slowing down and doing less.
Emotions aren’t problems to solve, they’re a window into your truth.
You don’t need to change your life, although your life will change.
You've been taught what to believe, but not to know yourself. We'll change that together.
Katie Krier is a Spiritual Wellness Coach who helps people healing from religious trauma understand themselves in a new way, rebuild meaning, and move forward with clarity. She supports those who’ve left rigid or high-control religious environments and now feel unanchored, unsure what they believe, or disconnected from their own identity.
After navigating her own faith crisis and deep identity unraveling, Katie knows how disorienting it can feel when the framework you lived inside suddenly falls away. Today, she guides others in untangling old conditioning, understanding themselves beyond the beliefs they were handed, and rebuilding meaning in a secular, self-directed way without replacing one belief system with another.
With two decades of teaching yoga and personal development, a background in corporate leadership and sales, and a BA in Finance from the University of Colorado Boulder, Katie blends practical structure with lived experience to support meaningful change. She is also currently training to become a licensed psychedelic guide, work that further informs her trauma-aware and integrative approach.
Based in Denver, Colorado, she is a proud single mom to her teenage daughter, Emma.
